Wei-Chen Chen (Eddie) is becoming a registered psychotherapist in Canada. He has trauma-informed training in gender-affirming care, estrangement, dissociation, and childhood trauma, and he is particularly skilled at supporting youth coping with anger, anxiety, attention deficit challenges, family dysfunction, narcissistic abuse, depression, and PTSD/CPTSD.
His artistic practices include poetry and AI music, sketching, sculpture, mixed media, photography, filmmaking, and acting.
His documentary film MisMarriage (2020) won the 2021 FFIFA Best Documentary Short Director Award.
Wei-Chen obtained his MA from the National Taiwan University of Arts, the alma mater of Oscar Award–winning director Ang Lee.

Wei-Chen aims to inspire others to tell their own stories and rediscover their strength by sharing his own journey of trauma recovery through Arts, Theater & Film.

Serlyris is Wei-Chen's fictional creation, Sea Serpent. It is a mindful series depicting Water & Light, symbolized through the medical Caduceus, the Staff of Hermes.
